What is PHCMCC?
The Pasco Hernando Citrus Minority Chamber of Commerce (PHCMCC) is a regional business organization being established to support, connect, and advocate for minority owned businesses across Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties. Our focus is on access, education, collaboration, and sustainable economic growth.
Who can be part of PHCMCC?
PHCMCC is open to:
- Any organization or owned businesses
- Small businesses and entrepreneurs
- Nonprofit organizations
- Corporate partners and allies
- Community members who support minority business development
You do not need to be located in all three counties. Serving or doing business in at least one of the counties is sufficient.
Why three counties?
Many minority owned businesses operate across county lines or serve regional markets. PHCMCC was created to remove artificial boundaries, increase collaboration, and expand opportunities through a unified regional approach.
Is PHCMCC a nonprofit organization?
PHCMCC is currently in the formation phase and is pursuing formal organizational status. Once approved, details regarding tax status, memberships, and benefits will be publicly shared.
Are contributions tax deductible?
At this time, contributions to PHCMCC are not tax deductible. This will be clearly updated once organizational status is finalized.
How can I support PHCMCC right now?
You can support PHCMCC by:
- Making a founding support contribution
- Becoming a launch sponsor
- Joining the interest list
- Sharing our mission with your network
Early support helps cover startup costs and foundational work as the Chamber is established.
When will memberships open?
Formal memberships will open after organizational formation is complete. Membership details, pricing, and benefits will be announced publicly before enrollment begins.
What types of programs will PHCMCC offer?
Planned offerings include:
- Business education workshops and trainings
- Networking and supplier connection events
- Resource navigation and referrals
- Advocacy and policy awareness
- Youth and workforce development collaborations
- Community and economic development initiatives
Programs will be developed based on community needs and partner collaboration.
Will PHCMCC offer sponsorship opportunities?
Yes. Sponsorship opportunities are available for launch activities, programs, and events. Sponsorships may include recognition and promotional opportunities based on individual agreements.
Can individuals, not just businesses, support PHCMCC?
